The Watch Window in Excel allows you to monitor the value of specific cells, even if those cells are located on different worksheets or in different workbooks. This feature is particularly useful when you want to keep track of key cells or formulas without having to constantly navigate to them. Here's how to work with the Watch Window:

Open the Watch Window: Go to the "Formulas" tab on the Excel ribbon. In the "Formula Auditing" group, click on the "Watch Window" button.

Add Cells to the Watch Window:

With the Watch Window open, click on the "Add Watch" button.

In the "Add Watch" dialog box, select the cell or range of cells that you want to monitor.

Click "Add" to add the selected cells to the Watch Window.

View Monitored Cells: Once you've added cells to the Watch Window, you can see their current values, formulas, and other relevant information.

Update Watched Cells: As you make changes to the cells being monitored, the Watch Window will automatically update to reflect the new values.

Edit or Delete Watches:

To edit a watch, select the cell in the Watch Window and click on the "Edit Watch" button. You can then modify the reference or other settings.

To delete a watch, select the cell in the Watch Window and click on the "Delete Watch" button.

Resize and Move the Watch Window: You can resize and move the Watch Window to customize its appearance and location on your screen.

The Watch Window is especially helpful when you're working with large or complex Excel workbooks, as it allows you to keep important cells in view without constantly scrolling or navigating through the spreadsheet. It provides a convenient way to monitor key data as you work.
