EXTERNAL VERSION

 It is manipulation of the fetus from an abnormal position in to abnormal presentation

Usually done after the 34th weeks

USG is used during the procedure to evaluate fetal position & placental placement & guide dissection of the fetus

After procedure perform non-stress test to assess fetal well being

Qns.

1. A mother admitted in labour room with a condition of R.ROM which will be a unusual nursing care intervention

A) Vaginal examination every 8hrs
B) Vital signs every 4 hour
C) Continue F.H.S Monitoring
D) Intravenous ampiciline
