(1) Nausea & Vomiting:-
⦁ Occurs in the first trimester
⦁ Mainly due to Increase of human chorionic gonadatropin hormone
⦁ Eating small, frequent, low fit meals during the dry
⦁ Avoid fried & spicy food.
(2) Syncope:- It is transient loss of consciousness due to decrease blood supply to brain.
⦁ Usually occur in first trimester, supine hypotension syndrome occur in 2nd & 3rd trimester
⦁ Caused by increase blood volume, anemia, fatigue sudden position change
⦁ To prevent this-change the position slowly
(3) Urinary Urgency & frequency usually in the firsts 3rd trimester due to pressure of the uterus on the bladder.
(4) Breast tenderness due to increase level of estrogen, progesterone
(5) Increase Venial Discharge:-
Due to hyperplasia of vaginal my coca & increase mucus production.
(6) Nasal stiffness due to increase oestrogeve which cause swelling of the nasal my cosa
(7) Heart Burn (Pyrosis):-
⦁ Feeling of painful burring sensation in the chest
⦁ Occur in the second & third trimester.
⦁ Result from increased progesterone level, gastrointestinal motility & esophageal safes & displacement of the stomach by enlarging uterus.
(8) Ankle Edema:- Occur in second & third trimester
Result from vasodilatation, venous stasis & venous pressure below the uterus.
To Prevent this:- Elevate the hags at least twice a dry avoiding sitting or standing in one position for long period of time.
(9) Headache:- Result from change in blood volume & vascular tone
(10) Constipation due to intestinal motility & displace me of the intestines.
(11) Backache:- Occur in 2nd & 3rd trimester
Result from an exaggerated Limbo-sacral curve resulting from the enlarge uterus (Lord sis)
(12) Shortness of breath & dyspner due to pressure on the diaphragm.
